No personalized printing without transfer paper? – Sublimation toners prove otherwise

Ghost’s sublimation toners optimize numerous media objects into unique gift ideas and advertising media. You don’t even need transfer paper for this, just copy paper and a blank material suitable for sublimation. This includes all mixed fabrics with a clear background and a polyester content of at least 80% or a polyester coating. Unfortunately, white is not printable.

Sublimation toners contain a special toner powder that is printed on regular copy paper. Under sufficiently high heat and pressure, when pressed onto the substrate, the ink particles change their chemical state from solid to gaseous. This causes the color pigments to penetrate directly into the fibers of the textile or polyester coating. The result convinces with high color strength, excellent adhesion, and very good ultraviolet stability.
