Neon Toner Printer for UV and Blacklight Effects
The Neon Ghost is a Neon Toner Printer designed for intense fluorescent colors and eye-catching UV and blacklight effects.
The system combines a compatible Canon color laser printer with Neon Cyan, Neon Magenta, Neon Yellow and Fluo White, giving you a complete setup for creative specialty printing.
It is especially suitable if you want to start working with Neon and Fluo effects without already owning a compatible printing system.
Four Fluorescent Specialty Toners in One Printer
For the characteristic Neon Ghost result, we recommend using all four fluorescent specialty toners together:
- Neon Cyan
- Neon Magenta
- Neon Yellow
- Fluo White
As a Neon Toner Printer, the Neon Ghost is designed to use these four colors together for vivid fluorescent print results.
The cartridges can also be exchanged for other compatible toner configurations depending on your project. Keep in mind that changing the toner combination also changes the color reproduction and overall appearance of the print.
Neon Colors Look Different in Print Than on Screen
Fluorescent colors cannot be accurately reproduced on a normal computer, tablet or smartphone display.
Screens use RGB light and cannot show the physical fluorescent properties of Neon Toner. Your finished print can therefore appear significantly brighter, more vivid and more intense than the artwork shown on screen.
This difference is part of what makes Neon printing so interesting for creative applications.
If precise color matching is important, we recommend making a test print first. The Neon Ghost is designed for creative fluorescent effects rather than conventional color-critical screen-to-print reproduction.
Fluorescent Under UV and Blacklight
Under normal lighting, Neon Cyan, Neon Magenta and Neon Yellow already appear bright and distinctive.
Under UV or blacklight, their fluorescent character becomes much more noticeable. Fluo White adds a fluorescent white that can be used for lettering, graphics, highlights and other creative elements.
These are fluorescent / UV-reactive toners. They should not be confused with true phosphorescent “glow in the dark” materials. The fluorescent effect is activated by UV or blacklight and does not continue glowing independently after the light source is removed.
Use Bright White Paper for Strong UV Effects
For particularly intense Neon and UV effects, we recommend chlorine-free white paper.
A bright white surface helps the fluorescent colors show their full visual impact.
This makes the Neon Ghost especially interesting for events, clubs, bars, festivals, invitations, menus, promotional materials, signage, merchandise, creative graphics and other applications where strong color effects matter.
In environments with blacklight, the printed artwork can take on a completely different appearance compared with conventional CMYK prints.
Direct Printing and Toner Transfer
The Neon Ghost is not limited to paper printing.
With suitable Ghost transfer media and an appropriate heat press, Neon and Fluo designs can also be used for compatible toner transfer applications.
This opens up additional possibilities for apparel, merchandise, personalized products, promotional items, event products and small production runs.
The correct transfer media, temperature, pressing time and pressure depend on the substrate and application. We recommend testing new materials before producing larger quantities.
No Special Software Required for Basic Neon Printing
You do not need special design software for basic Neon and Fluo printing.
Create your artwork in your usual graphics program and print it with the Neon Ghost.
Because the physical Neon colors can differ significantly from their appearance on screen, experimenting with bold colors, strong contrasts and different designs is part of the creative process.
For more advanced workflows, the Neon Ghost is also available in a version with RIP software.
One Printer, Different Creative Possibilities
The Neon Ghost is not permanently limited to one toner configuration.
Compatible cartridges can be exchanged depending on the project, allowing you to use the printer for different types of print results.
This makes the system useful for designers, small businesses, print shops, event companies, clubs, hospitality businesses, merchandise suppliers, personalization businesses and other creative users.
Europe: Canon i-SENSYS LBP633Cdw
For Europe and corresponding international markets, the Neon Ghost is based on the Canon i-SENSYS LBP633Cdw.
It is a compact A4 color laser printer with a print resolution of up to 1,200 × 1,200 dpi, speeds of up to 21 A4 pages per minute, Wi-Fi, automatic duplex printing, a paper cassette and manual feed.
Suitable media of up to approximately 200 g/m² can be processed depending on the application.
Combined with the Ghost Neon and Fluo toner cartridges, it becomes a flexible system for fluorescent Neon, UV and blacklight applications.
USA: Canon Color imageCLASS LBP646Cdw
Customers in the United States receive the Neon Ghost with the Canon Color imageCLASS LBP646Cdw and the matching Ghost Neon and Fluo toner cartridges.
This means US customers receive a Canon printer intended for the US market, not a European printer with a different power connection.
The US version therefore provides the appropriate US power supply and local Canon warranty.
The LBP646Cdw differs slightly from the European LBP633Cdw in terms of the printer model and hardware platform. However, the basic Neon Ghost workflow and the achievable Neon and Fluo effects are largely comparable.
Neon Toner Printer or Standard CMYK Printer?
A conventional CMYK laser printer uses Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black and is designed primarily for standard color reproduction.
As a Neon Toner Printer, the Neon Ghost follows a different approach.
Neon Cyan, Neon Magenta, Neon Yellow and Fluo White are fluorescent specialty colors where brightness, contrast and visual impact are the main focus.
The Neon Ghost is therefore not intended to replace color-critical CMYK printing. Instead, it gives you an additional creative tool for unusual fluorescent print effects.

USA: Canon Color imageCLASS LBP646Cdw for the US market together with the matching Ghost Neon and Fluo toner cartridges. Regional package contents can differ from the European version because a different Canon printer platform is used.

Now available with RIP Software!
If you’re looking for a way to take your colorful designs to the next level, then our “Neon Ghost” printer bundle is just right for you – especially when combined with the RIP software, which you can add directly as a lifetime version to the bundle.
The RIP software makes printing complex, multicolored motifs containing CMYK + White a breeze. You can convert your designs into two perfectly matched PDF print files and then easily print them out one after the other with the black and white toner. Check out the impressive results in our image gallery!
A few things you should know: The RIP software only runs on Windows and is entirely in English. But don’t worry, the operation is super easy and intuitive – even if your English isn’t perfect, you won’t have any problems. In addition, the software offers a halftone function, which is particularly useful for motifs with double pass printing, although the accuracy may be limited in this case. Our sample photos will give you a good impression of what to expect.

So, if you’re ready to take your printing projects to the next level, the “Neon Ghost” with the RIP software is the ideal choice for you!
Happy printing!
