Neon colors can look different from your screen
Please keep in mind that Neon Magenta cannot be accurately represented on a standard computer, tablet or smartphone screen. Displays use RGB colors and cannot fully reproduce the fluorescent character of a physical neon toner.
The printed result can therefore appear significantly brighter, more vivid and more fluorescent than the color shown in your artwork on screen.
The final appearance can also vary depending on the printed material, transfer media, substrate and lighting conditions. Under UV or black light, the fluorescent effect becomes even more noticeable.
If exact color matching is important for your project, we recommend making a test print first. With Neon Toner, the goal is not necessarily to reproduce a standard screen color exactly, but to create the bright and eye-catching fluorescent effect that makes these special colors unique.
Direct printing or toner transfer
Depending on your project, Ghost Neon Magenta can be used for direct printing on suitable laser-printable media or together with suitable Ghost transfer media for toner transfer applications.
With the correct transfer media and a suitable heat press, neon designs can be transferred onto compatible textiles and other suitable surfaces.
This gives you the flexibility to use Neon Magenta for a wide range of creative applications.
Neon Toner, White Toner or Sublime – what is the difference?
Ghost offers different toner technologies depending on what you want to create.
Ghost Neon Toner is designed for bright fluorescent colors and special visual effects. Neon Magenta can be combined with Neon Cyan and Neon Yellow to create striking fluorescent color designs.
Ghost White Toner is designed for strong, opaque white printing. It is especially useful for white designs and full-color designs with a white base on dark materials when used with suitable Ghost transfer media.
Ghost Sublime Toner uses a different process. Sublime is a CMYK sublimation system for light-colored polyester-based or sublimation-coated surfaces. During sublimation, the color is transferred into the surface, leaving virtually no noticeable transfer layer.

One printer – multiple creative possibilities
A major advantage of the Ghost toner system is that you do not need to dedicate your compatible printer to just one application.
The Neon Magenta cartridge can be exchanged for compatible regular Color Toner, White Toner, Fluo White or Sublime Toner, depending on your project.
Each toner cartridge operates as a closed cartridge system. When cartridges are changed correctly and stored properly while not in use, no complicated cleaning or printer conversion is required.
This allows you to use the same compatible Canon printer for standard color printing, opaque white, fluorescent effects or sublimation.

Transfer settings depend on the material
For toner transfer applications, the correct settings depend on the transfer media and surface being used.
Temperature, pressing time and pressure should always be adjusted to the selected material and transfer media.
We recommend carrying out a test before producing larger quantities, especially when working with a new substrate or transfer medium.
